SWIFT's KYC registry surpasses 2,000 financial institutions

22/01/2016 More than 2,000 financial institutions have signed up for the "Know Your Customer (KYC) Registry", SWIFT's centralised repository which maintains a standardised set of information about financial institutions required for KYC compliance.

The credit calls for a copy of the bill of lading and has a clause stating that it is to evidence shipment date only and no other discrepancy to be raised. The presented copy is a pre-printed on board bill of lading which has a date of issue. Can we consider this date as the date of shipment as required by the clause or does the document need to specifically state separately the date of shipment?
