OFAC enforcement information for first 2 months of 2020

The U.S. Department of the Treasury provides regular updates on the penalties that have been imposed due to a failure to comply with regulations such as country sanctions and global terrorism sanctions. For the first two months of 2020, the value of fines imposed was USD8,966,790 in respect of three settlements.

For 2019 as a whole, the figure was USD1,289,027,059 in respect of twenty six settlements, two of which were over USD600million.
