For domestic UPAS L/C, the applicant requested us to issue UPAS L/C with condition "Documents presented by the Applicant are acceptable". They also submit the authorization from Beneficiary that allows the applicant to present documents on behalf of the beneficiary. Based on that, Bank A have issued a UPAS L/C with the term: "Documents presented by the Applicant are acceptable". When the applicant submits the document to Bank A, they instruct Bank A to remit to beneficiary's account. When the applicant submit documents to Bank A, can Bank A be both the presenting bank and issuing bank or Bank A only play the role of issuing bank?
