We have received a Bill of Lading consigned “To Order” without endorsement by the shipper. The Bill of Lading is a House Bill of Lading. We received the following statement quote 'The House BL does not affect negotiability or cargo release when the Master BL is available. The consignee can collect the cargo using the corresponding Master Bill of Lading, which governs the release of goods. unquote We have not seen the Master Bill of Lading. Is the above statement correct?
