We received a credit that required an ACID NR to be shown on all documents. EUR.1 is among the documents required and is issued by the customs authorities and signed by the beneficiary. But the customs authority use a QR code as a signature and its name appears underneath. The ACID number is written on a sticker affixed into EUR.1 but not authenticated by customs authority with their stamp and signature. Does the customs authority have to authenticate the sticker? We raised a discrepancy like so but the beneficiary objected claiming that this case is not in the scope of ISBP821 paragraph A7. We will appreciate your opinion.
